WorldSkills Competitions

The IT section at Hornsby TAFE has been involved in WorldSkills competitions for many years with outstanding results. WorldSkills competitions are held at the regional, national and international levels. We have had many of our students compete in these competitions with remarkable results, including gold, silver, and bronze at the regional, national, and even international levels!

State Awards

We have had many students receive state awards including:

• Northern Sydney Institute (NSI) IT Student of the Year, 2005
• NSI Student of the Year 2005
• 2008 First in the State for Web Development
• 2008 First in the State for Programming
• 2011 First in the State for Software Development

Other Awards

We have also had many of our students receive other awards for dedication, excellence, and other achievements, such as the Zonta Award, Rotary awards, and others.
